NOTES:

 To be eligible to race you must register at the pit gate before 6:30 pm. If you are going to be late you must call prior to 6:30 pm to register. If you do not arrive before your heat race you will start in the rear of the B-Main.

Once your car has passed inspection, if you get caught cheating you will be barred for 2 (two) weeks. All money won that night will be forfeited and added to that division's Point Fund. A second offense will result in being barred for a determined amount of time by the Race Promoter and /or the Race Director. All decisions made by the Race Promoter and/or Race Director will be final.

CARS:

Stock metric frames or Unibody stubbed frames only. Unibodies may be stubbed to rear frame. Metric frames may be repaired with steel square tubing same at a stock frame. No round tube rear frames. 1955 or newer American made cars only. (Chevy, Pontiac, Ford, Chrysler) Minimum weight with driver is to be 3,200 pounds.    No tolerance.

BODIES:

1)    FULL BODIES ONLY (all glass, chrome and upholstery must be removed).

2)    Holes in hood must be covered, hood scoops will not exceed 4 (four) inches tall.

3)    NO spoilers: roof, side, rear or front. No ground hugging nose, doors or quarter panel skirts of any kind.

4)    Stock appearing steel bodies only. No Exceptions.

5)    Plastic or aftermarket noses are allowed but cannot be the Late Model slope aerodynamic type nose. Nose must be stock appearing for the make of the car.

6)    Mandatory fuel cell must be in a steel container with a 2" x 1/8" steel strap on each side to securely mount the fuel cell. The trunk area may be removed for fuel cell placement. All fuel cell and engine compartments must be separated from the driver's compartment.

7)    Cockpit cars are allowed (UMP rules permitting). No exposed tubing outside of bodyline of car. No rub rails.

SUSPENSION:

1)    One steel shock per wheel. NO coil over shocks.

2)    Four wheel weight jack devices allowed.

3)    No 5th arm traction bars allowed.

4)    No adjustable sway bars, stock sway bars only.

5)    You must have working brakes on at least 3 (three) wheels.

6)    Rear ends may be 5 (five) hole or light truck. NO quick changes. No 8 (eight) hole truck rear ends. Floater rear ends have been approved for safety.

7)    Wheel base 108" minimum. No tolerance.

8)    Tube type Upper A arms in stock location is fine. No floating bird cage suspensions allowed. Multi leaf or coil suspension only.

9)    No J Bars. Stock components only.

MOTOR - TRANSMISSION

1)    The 500 CFM 4412 Holley is the only carburetor allowed.

2)    The choke blade can be removed but the original choke tower must be retained. No other modifications are permitted and will be strictly enforced.

3)    Aftermarket headers are allowed.

4)    Mufflers are mandatory, muffler inserts are allowed.

5)    Every car must have a working starter.

6)    Transmissions can be standard or automatic type. Triple disc clutch is allowed. No Berts or Brinns allowed. No in and out boxes.

7)    Steel scatter shield bell housings are mandatory, or 180 degree 1/4" steel shield over bell housing area.

8)    No quick change transmissions allowed.

9)    Aluminum intakes are allowed.  Aluminum radiators are allowed. Radiators will remain in the front of the engine.

10)  Roller tip rockers are allowed.

11)  No racing distributors allowed. HEI distributors are allowed. No MSD boxes.

12)  #1 Spark Plug will be even or ahead of the top ball joint. No tolerance.

13)  No electric fuel pumps.

14)  Battery will be securely mounted.

15)  Racing gas only.

TIRE AND WHEELS:

1)    8" Maximum steel wheels only.

2)    No wheel adapters allowed.

3)    No home made steel wheels allowed.

4)    One beadlock on either side of car only.

5)    The only tire allowed is the Hoosier E mod; D, H or A compound.

SAFETY:

1)    A minimum 4 point roll cage is required and a minimum 1 1/2" diameter tubing is required. roll cage must be at least 0.95 wall thickness.

2)    A minimum of 3 (three) door bars are required for both the driver and passenger sides.

3)    3 (three) driver protection bars of at least 3/8" OD tubing in the windshield area (to protect driver from debris). These bars will be mounted vertical from dash bar to the top of the roof hoop.

4)    One radiator bar is optional. One fuel cell bar is optional.

5)    5/8" studs on all four hubs and 1" lug nuts are mandatory.

6)    Aluminum racing seat is mandatory. No fiberglass or stock bucket seats allowed. Seat must be securely mounted.

7)    A 5 (five) point, 3" (three inch) safety harness is required.

8)    An approved Snell SA 2000 full face helmet is required.

9)    An approved complete racing fire suit is required.

10)  All weights must be securely mounted with 2 (two) - 1/2" bolts and be painted white with car # clearly marked. All weights must be mounted under the body of the car.

11)  Drive shafts must be painted white and remain white all season.
